CASH BUILDER - NOW OPEN TO NEW POLICYHOLDERS
The easy, flexible way to save and watch your money grow.
COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION ONLINE BELOW
There are many different reasons why people take out a Cashbuilder Plan. Some people are saving for a well-earned holiday of a lifetime, while others are just happy to know that they have a little extra financial support behind them for when they need it.
The Cashbuilder gives you an affordable flexible savings plan and is available for anyone aged 16 or over. You can start a Cashbuilder plan from just £5 a month and save up to £25 a month (in £5 steps). You can also choose to save quarterly or annually with a limit of £270 a year.
The Cashbuilder is designed as a long-term savings plan and the sooner you start saving the sooner you will benefit. You can choose any term between 10 and 25 years. When you cash in after 10 years or more the whole amount will be income and capital gains tax-free under current Legislation.
The chances are you won't even miss the small amounts that you set aside each month (or year). But over the course of the policy term those small amounts can grow into a substantial sum to help towards your future plans.
Bonus payments to existing policies over the last six years have been maintained at a highly respectable 5% per annum of the sum guaranteed when taking out a policy, although these past bonuses are not a reliable indicator of future results and are calculated by the Society's Appropriate Actuary on a Triennial Valuation basis.
Though you may not want to think about such a thing, but should you die during the term of the plan, your premiums will be returned with an additional 3% interest - so at least you know your loved ones will benefit from the money saved.
When becoming a policy holder, we will assign you to a branch allowing you the opportunity to apply for membership of the branch to attend meetings locally if you so wish and take a more active part in the running of the branch and, ultimately, the Society and perhaps attend our Annual Moveable Conference as a delegate at no cost to yourself and enjoy the fraternal side of the Oddfellows.
